From the beginning of this blog I’ve made it clear that I write about whatever is on my mind at the time I sit down to write. There are lots of things I don’t write about that are on my mind, but I remind myself that this is a family blog.
Here’s a story from a preacher I listened to this weekend. He told about a 50th anniversary party for a couple that had achieved this mile marker in marriage. A man walked up to the man being honored and said, “Boy, 50 years with the same woman is a long time.” The man gave a simple answer, “It would have been a lot longer without her.”
Something to think about.
