Red Feds

A federal appeals court in Virginia dismissed two lawsuits that had challenged the constitutionality of Obamacare. The three-judge panel of the 4th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled in both lawsuits - one filed by the Virginia Attorney General and one by Liberty University - that the plaintiffs did not have standing to sue.

Now folks, this is why I am not a lawyer. I have observed that in this country anybody can sue anybody anywhere anytime for anything. But apparently you cannot sue the government for requiring you to buy health insurance. However more than 30 lawsuits have been filed - many by States.

Again, I’m not a lawyer so I do not understand. Maybe the same government that tells you what to eat, what you can and cannot do and where you can do it, what you can and cannot think and finds you guilty even if you did not think what they think you thought, can tell you to buy health insurance.

The Supreme Court will have the final ruling on Obamacare. Bet that will be fun to watch.

Did I mention that the three-judge panel in Virginia had two members that Obama appointed and one appointed by Bill Clinton?

And they, the government, can’t understand why we, the people, are ticked off.
