Cassius Clay, who became Muhammad Ali, is generally regarded as the most significant heavyweight boxer in the history of the sport. He died June 3, 2016 in Phoenix, Arizona. If one is objective, and a boxing fan, you may have loved him or hated him, but reality is that he was what he said he was, a champion. And, he was a man of insight that had a lot to offer.
He said, “I hated every minute of training, but I said, ‘Don’t quit.’ Suffer now and live the rest of your life as a champion.” And, he also said, “He who is not courageous enough to take risks will accomplish nothing in life.” Words of wisdom from a man that believed in himself and what it takes to be more than ordinary.
Muhammad Ali also said, “Live everyday as if it were your last because someday you’re going to be right.”
From me to Ali, “Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee.”
Where ever you are now.
