Diogenes

Diogenes was a playful philosopher who lived c. 412 to c. 323 B.C. He enjoyed using whit to cause others to think.

When asked why he carried a lamp during the day time he replied, "I am searching for an honest man."

Because he once is quoted as saying there is no difference between life and death, I’m guessing he is still holding that lamp and looking.

If he finds his way to Washington D.C. he can settle down for eternity.
