Everyone knows about the dropping of the ball in New York’s Time Square to bring in the new year. But, there are some other events that I think I would like better.
Presque Isle, Maine has a giant sardine drop. I don’t know if it’s packed in mustard.
A 15 foot taco reigns in the new year in Tucson, Arizona.
Mobile, Alabama gathered some attention with the drop of a giant moon pie. If they offer RC Cola, I might want to make that next year.
The plans for the usual possum drop in Brasstown, North Carolina had to be changed to either road kill or possum stew because of protest by animal rights activists.
I think next year we’ll drop an animal rights activists in East Texas.
