There was an ad in the Dallas Morning News this weekend by an organization seeking volunteers and donations to help children forced into sex trade. The data provided was quoted as coming from a commissioned report by the Department of Justice.
The published data pointed out that 87% of trafficked teens have been abandoned by their father, aound age four. 93% have been physically or sexually abused by their mother’s boyfriend. Most run away from home only to fall prey to predators that force them into sex trade. This occurs around age 13.
If you want to take the time to do research on this subject, you will find a report submitted to Congress by the DOJ. There are statistics that will shock you, like an over 2000% increase in child porn in four years.
In the report, the writer says, “We are a nation that has lost it’s soul.”
When you lose your soul, there is nothing left.
