I got to watch the State of the Union message from President Trump for only a few minutes, but I’m sure that you will agree with me. This country is in terrible shape and going to hell in a handbasket. Wait, that’s what the Democrats said. I don’t know why they just didn’t take a knee instead of sitting on their hands.
Can you believe that there are people that think that prosperity, opportunity and freedom are bad things? The reason they do is quite simply they won’t have control over your lives. They want you living in poverty in the ghetto. Trump pointed out the employment rate for BlackAmericans is at a historical high, but the Democrats said it was better under Obama. Obama did have more people on food stamps than ever before.
As I’ve said before, I don’t like President Trump’s personality, but I like what he is getting done and will continue to get done in making America great again.
The challenge to the Democrats is how they are going to convince people that keeping more of their own money is a bad thing. Don’t worry, they will work hard on getting that message out.
Even if they have to tell bigger lies - if that’s possible - LOL.

Voe By Mail From Jail
To be eligible to vote by mail in Texas, you must: be 65 years or older; be disabled; be out of the county on election day and during the period for early voting by personal appearance; or, be confined in jail, but otherwise eligible. All you have to vote from jail is submit a form that you won’t be available on the election date.
I’m guessing that "otherwise eligible" means you agree to vote for a Democrat.
Wait a minute! That would not be a misdemeanor, but a felony.
Felons are not allowed to vote until they get out of jail.

NFL Puke
The NFL makes me want to upchuck, vomit or just plain puke. They refused to run a superbowl ad for AMVETS because the spot contained the words, "Please stand for the Pledge of Allegiance." If you have not heard about this slap in the face of American Veterans, it is because the media isn’t going to do anything politically incorrect.
Now the National Fools and Looneys have thrown a bone to the peasant dogs. They plan to have 15 recipients of the Medal of Honor at the coin toss. WWII vet Hershel Williams will flip the coin.
It would be quite fitting if all the vets took a knee, before the coin toss.

Phones
My old friend, he is old, has written about cell phones in his blog, so I thought I might too. I don’t know why he is all upset about phones, he never answers when I call him. First, let me say that I have no use for cell phones, just like I had no use for pagers. Both mean you are tethered 24/7.
I have no use for phones that do anything beyond making a phone call. I don’t do text unless I have to, and I really don’t what to know what everybody else is doing on social media. Nor, do I have a need to search the internet while I’m driving. You get the picture, I really don’t like cell phones. I did have a flip phone for a few years and it wasn’t bad because it basically called out and received calls.
If I must have a cell phone I want one with a rotary dial and a handset.
Being old and grumpy makes everything hard to adjust to.

Right Or Wrong
If you had the chance to steal something with absolute certainty that no one would ever know you took it, would you take it?
If your friends planned to hurt someone and down deep inside you didn’t want to do it, would you follow along anyway?
If after a cash transaction at a store or bank, you realize that you received too much money in change, would you keep it?
If you saw a crime committed and there were lots of people around that saw it too, would you choose not to get involved by calling the police?
If you could cheat on an exam in school and not get caught, would you do it?
If you committed a misdemeanor and got caught, but knew you could get out of it by lying, would you do it?
If you had a chance to get revenge with someone that had done you wrong, would you do it?
If you found a lost wallet that contained a lot of money and identification of the owner, would you keep the money?
If you were asked if you know the difference between right and wrong, would you say yes?

Divided We Fall
It has been often said, "United we stand, divided we fall." It is amazing how long the United States has remained with all the things that divide us. But, division seems to be increasing more and more.
Politics have always divided people. Politicians depend on it to keep their power and importance. But, today there is a wide divide between those that want to maintain a democratic republic and those that want socialism - even communism.
Immigration is a dividing force. On one side there are those that want to preserve the sanctity, sovereignty and security of our borders. On the other there are those that fight daily for open borders.
Abortion continues to divide people. Some see life as being protected and preserved, while others do not view a fetus as life and can be disposed on demand.
Religion has always and will always be a dividing factor. But, in a nation that was founded on Judeo-Christian beliefs, opposing views seek to destroy basic morals and principles.
Racism, real and perceived, continues to set one side against another. Today, if one does not agree with someone, they are labeled racist, without cause in most cases.
The American culture is all but gone. There was a time when regardless of race, creed or color, we were all Americans first. Not so anymore. There are hyphenated Americans that should never have been allowed to separate from just being Americans. America is and has always been a blend of many nations and people. That’s what made us unique.
If we continue to divide ourselves, we will not have to worry about being destroyed by outside forces. We will destroy ourselves.

A-Salt-Rifle
The media should love this because they are always misidentifying guns. Anything and everything is an assault rifle to them. Well, there is a weapon on the market that is called, an "A-Salt-Rifle." It shoots salt - just plain old table salt. It is a replacement for a fly swatter. You shoot the annoying buggers with salt. Knock them right out of the air or wait until they land. Every ‘redneck’ like me should have one.
I just got one and there are not many flies this time of year, but you can shoot other things - like spiders. Yes, there are plenty of spiders year round in East Texas. Especially in my garage. I am on a mission to shoot all the spiders I can before the flies come out.
Think about, you can shoot insects, or use the gun for other things, like salting your steaks on the grill. I think I can even shoot garlic salt in it. If you have a "watermelon cutting" at your house or on a picnic, you can respond when someone says, "Pass the salt."
I may have to get another one and see if it will shoot coarse ground pepper.
Liven things up at the dinner table.

School Shootings
When I went to high school, there were guns - lots of guns. Back in the old days, people had gun racks in their pickup trucks. It was something that people gave no thought to. Guns were for hunting, and protection. And, we would take our 22s out and plink some cans once in awhile.
Fast forward to today and we have people shooting at schools, churches and other places, just to kill people. Guns haven’t changed. People have.
We didn’t have school shootings because people either had good sense or they were afraid of punishment or both. It was a time when people valued life and did things like recite the Pledge everyday at school, and oh my gosh, there were even prayers in school at special times.
My heart and prayers go out to those families and friends that suffer losses in senseless shootings. But, if it is to stop, you have to change the people.
Not the guns.

Damn The Torpedoes
The Democrats essentially said, "Damn the torpedoes, full steam ahead." When you shut down government, even for three days, because you can’t have your way, you are not helping your party.
Dianne Feinstein warned that a shutdown would literally kill people. But she voted a second time to keep it going. What does that tell you about the whole event?
The problem seems to be that when the demagogues tried to ram what they thought was just a tiny boat, it turned out to be an island.
When will they ever learn?
Not in my lifetime. Or, yours.

New Ages Explained
Seventy is now the new 50. I don’t know who said that, but obviously they are not 70. At 70 there are many things you can’t do when you were 50 - like getting out of bed without grunting. None the less let me explain how the new age brackets work.
If 70 is the new 50, then 50 would be the new 30. And, that would make 30 the new 10 and 20 would be the new 1 year old. Think about that it that way, and it makes sense.
We have 70 year old people trying to act 20 years younger, and it’s not a pretty site. Fifty year olds want to think they still can, like when they were 30, but things that were critical to "living" at 30, now have less and less interest to a 50 year old. And I must mention that if they try to act like 30, they could get into serious trouble or hurt themselves.
Next we have the 30 year olds that behave like they are 10. That’s why they still live with their mother and really don’t want a job. Playing is so much more fun.
Finally we have the 20 year olds that are now the 1 year olds. Just look at any college or university and they are everywhere. They have to have their safe space and like a one year old, they have temper fits if they don’t get their way.
Be patient with all the new ages, especially the one year old group.
They are still working on potty training.

This About That
This country was founded with immigrants. But, they became one - Americans. As the country evolved and the need arose, immigration became regulated to protect what so many had worked so hard to build. Laws were passed and restrictions applied to those that would blend into the American culture with absolute dedication to their new country.
Now, there are those that would have open borders - which we have - so that anyone from anywhere can basically invade the country without fear. In many cases those here illegally have more rights than citizens. What is wrong about this approach? Everything. Immigration must be regulated and enforced or the end result will be disaster.
Think about this way. You come home and find some people living in your house. They tell you that you they are not leaving. You call the police and they tell you that they are not going to enforce any law that prevents your new house mates from staying. They settle in and tell you that you are out of beer.
Then they invite some relatives to join them and they bring more relatives with them. What are you going to do?
Nothing. It’s too late.

Government Shutdown
So the Democrats got their government shutdown. It’s their "Custer’s last stand" move because they can’t get what they want. If you aren’t aware, they are always supposed to get what they want. They are still trying to figure out what happened with Hillary.
The only problem with a government shutdown is that it doesn’t affect those that govern. They get to continue doing or ‘not doing’ what they were doing. Reminds me of an old song back in the 60's performed by a young man (then) by the name of Joe South. "The Games People Play."
"Never meaning what you say or saying what you mean. So you wile away the hours in your ivory towers, til you’re covered up with flowers in the back of a black limousine."
Bottom line is that the Democrats want illegal immigrants for votes and Republicans want cheap labor for all their supporters.
All I want is enforcement of laws.

I Don't Like Trump
If you’ve read more than one of these posts, you should conclude that I am so far to the right that I think that Rush Limbaugh is a liberal. So, it may come as a surprise that I don’t like Trump.
Donald Trump is rude, crude, vulgar, brash, egotistical, and throughly convinced there is nothing wrong with his behavior. ( I will give him credit for being who he is - all of the above.) That’s the world he knew before he became President and he can see no good reason to change. I agree with that too.
I have met a lot of people that behave like Trump and I don’t like them either.
If he runs for a second term, I will not only vote for him, I will campaign for him. You don’t have to like someone to like what he is trying to get done.
It’s good for America.

Not A Democracy
One of the few men ,alive tody, that I admire is Walter E. Williams, a professor of economics at George Mason University. Recently in a commentary in the Daily Signal, he shared some insight that all Americans need to understand. We are not a democracy. We are a Republic.
I am using some excerpts from Doctor Williams in the following:
The Founding Fathers went to great lengths to ensure that we were a republic and not a democracy. In fact, the word democracy does not appear in the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, or any other of our founding documents.
In Federalist Paper No. 10, James Madison wanted to prevent rule by majority faction, saying, "Measures are too often decided, not according to the rules of justice and the rights of the minor party, but by the superior force of an interested and overbearing majority."
John Adams warned in a letter, "Remember democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There never was a democracy yet, that did not commit suicide."
Edmund Randolph said, "That in tracing these evils to their origin, every man had found it in the turbulence and follies of democracy."
Then-Chief Justice John Marshall observed, "Between a balanced republic and a democracy, the difference is like that between order and chaos."
The Founders expressed contempt for the tyranny of majority rule, and throughout our Constitution, they placed impediments to that tyranny. Two houses of Congress pose one obstacle to majority rule. That is, 51 senators can block the wishes of 435 representatives and 49 senators.
The president can veto the wishes of 535 members of Congress. It takes two-thirds of both houses of Congress to override a presidential veto.
To change the Constitution requires not a majority but a two-thirds vote of both houses, and if an amendment is approved, it requires ratification by three-fourths of state legislatures.
At the close of the Constitutional Convention of 1787, Franklin was queried as he left Independence Hall on the final day of deliberation. In the notes of Dr. James McHenry, one of Maryland’s delegates to the Convention, a lady asked Dr. Franklin "Well Doctor what have we got, a republic or a monarchy." Franklin replied, "A republic . . . if you can keep it."

Feed Them To The Lions
A report from a Catholic organization made to Newsweek recently states that Christian persecution is worse now than anytime in history. The study made by Aid to the Church in Need said the treatment of Christians has gotten worse in the past two years and has grown more violent.
In countries around the world, especially in the Middle East, Christians are suffering crimes against humanity with some being hanged or crucified. In India a Christian pastor was left in a coma after being beaten. He was told to never come into the village to pray. In Africa hundreds have been imprisoned, because of their faith. Well, you get the picture. Christianity is a threat to other religions in their view point, and they are willing to do whatever it takes to eradicate it.
In recent years there are over 100,000 Christians killed each year because of their faith. How long will it take for extremists to start feeding them to the lions?
The more important question is, "How long will it take before it happens here?"
Being eaten by a lion is going to hurt.

Fast And Loud
How many words do you speak per minute? If you are like the average bear, you probably don’t know. You might assume that the speed may vary depending on how excited or uninterested you may be. The answer is somewhere between 130 and 180 words per minute, with 180 on the fast side, if you want to be understood.
The TED organization, is a clearing house of the world’s most inspired thinkers and speakers, and is credited with having created a TED speed for communication. To effectively communicate one must speak a rate that is understood and interesting. As I have said for years, we have far too much conversation and little communication.
And, of course, it is critical that one speak at a level that is comfortable for the listener. Too soft and communication goes away. Too loud and you get tuned out and turned off.
Pray tell then, why do many of the "elite" talking heads speak at the speed of light and as loud as the sound engineer can stand? Because they are the "all knowing" experts on anything and everything and they want to scream you into submission to their opinions.
Next time you watch or listen to "news" or some talk show, truly listen. See how they speed up and shout, dismissing any facts they don’t want to believe, to make sure you understand they are truly all knowing.
If they are all knowing, they would know that this behavior is the opposite of communication, if that is what they are trying to do.
Proud and loud is a slogan used over the years to get some people their way, they think.
When communication is scarce, it is speed of speech and volume that causes it to fail.

MLK Day
Every year when Martin Luther King day rolls around, I wonder what would have happened if he had not been killed. I like to think that he would have continued to lead toward peace and harmony among all people. Dr. King was a true visionary that saw the past as a path to shape the future.
What would he do today? Would he approve of violent protest, disrespect for the flag and anthem, or demanding anything other than an equal opportunity? I believe he would not. He would have stepped up and stood proudly guiding all to peace through a united front - not a divisive display of anger and hate.
It is so true. The good die young.

Lone Lawman
Over the years there have been numerous movie and television programs about lawmen standing alone to uphold the law. There are those kind of men and women today in Texas. They are ‘Game Wardens.’ They have more power to arrest than any other officer in the state, because they can arrest someone on a game violation as well as all the other laws.
To be an effective game warden, one has to love the outdoors and forget about schedules. Just because it is a holiday night, they know there are poachers out there and it is their job to catch them. They sleep on the ground and cook out - while they watch out for lawbreakers.
Over the years I’ve know several wardens. Merle and Sammy were my favorites, but neither one of them looked like Marshal Dillion. These guys worked in North Texas for years - each one working a different area. They were typical in that they enjoyed their work and really liked getting away from "civilization" for awhile.
What’s not to like? Bugs, snakes, and bad guys.
Hey, there’s not much traffic out where they go.

Sweetened Beverage Tax
Back in 2010 I posted a message titled "Fat Tax." Guess what, it’s getting closer to being a reality. A soda tax went into effect in Seattle on January 1st. It’s been done in other cities before, and the outcome is always the same, but this time the tax rate is almost as much as the cost of a soda, or other sugary drinks, including sports drinks. The ‘sweetened beverage tax’ is 1.75 cents per ounce. Do the math on your favorite drink.
The Seattle council sees this as a now fashionable trend to exercise more government control on individual lifestyles. Not to mention a way to increase city coffers. They know that people don’t like to be taxed into doing something.
Remember the Boston Tea Party? Well that’s not quite happened in Seattle - yet. People have done what they have done in other cities. They just go out to the suburbs to buy their sodas. The same way they used to go to another city to buy beer and wine. But, government was not to be outdone, and more cities began to allow the sale of those - with taxes tagged on.
The problem with Democrats and government is their hypocrisy. For years, they have shouted, "my body, my choice" to defend select actions - like abortion and legalized marijuana.
You can be fat and have an abortion while smoking a ‘joint’ so long as you don’t drink a soda.
At least for now.

Winter Time
This global warming is freezing me. Excuse me, ‘global warming’ which changed to ‘climate change’ is now ‘climate crisis.’ What ever it is, it’s cold in East Texas with a forecast of getting colder. My obvious question is how is warming making it colder. I don’t understand all the science.
Al Gore said that global warming would cause the north polar ice cap to be completely gone within five years. That was nine years ago. And, guess what, the ice cap is growing, not melting.
One of Gore’s sources says the super chill temperatures we’ve had are precisely the sort of extreme winter weather we should expect. As the planet warms he says we’ll see more cold snaps. If you missed what I said, they are saying, as it gets warmer it will be colder.
However, University of Washington climatologist Cliff Mass says, "The frequency of cold waves have decreased during the past 50 years, not increased."
Ever since I discovered America, in Texas, we have had really hot weather and cold fronts - 'blue northers.'
Even on the same day.

Sweet Home Alabama
Well, sweet potato pie and shut my mouth, Toyota and Mazda have announced they will build a $1.6 billion joint assembly plant in Alabama. They anticipate the plant to be built in Huntsville will employ 4,000 workers with average earnings of $50,000 per year. The plant is expected to produce 300,000 vehicles per year.
Alabama is already home to a Mercedes-Benz. Honda and Hyundai have plants there too with Kia operating near the border in Georgia.
What are the "Big 3" doing? GM, Chrysler and Ford.
Better watch out boys, they soon will be in front of you.

$105 Billion
In case you missed it, Amazon CEO, Jeff Bezos now has a net worth of about $105.1 billion, according to Bloomberg. Forbes put him at $104.4 billion. Not bad for a guy that started in his garage with a dream that he would someday be able to afford a fork lift to move his inventory of books.
He quit his job to follow a dream in 1994 and he made it work. Not bad for a 30 year old engineer.
I don’t know what I would do if I had that much money. But, I’m sure that my financial controller would have lots of ideas.
I think I would hire someone to wash my pickup.
Hand wash.

He's Crazy
Okay, it’s time to catch up on politics. Just to refresh your memory, Trump is the devil incarnate, the arch enemy of the media and the democrats, and now he is not qualified to hold office because he’s crazy. If he is, it’s the media and democrats that made him that way.
They said Regan and Bush were insane too, but they didn’t play along with the game. Trump has too much attitude about being constantly being attacked. He wants to fight back. All he needs to go is react like his enemies do - ignore them. Donald, take a few lessons and live easier. Look at Pelosi, Schumer, and Obama. They just keep on doing what they do.
The Russian expose didn’t work, so now plan B or whatever it is, is now on the front burner. Trust me, there will be no lull in the attacks. When this one fails, there is another one already ready.
As I have said before, “Mr. President, shut up and do your job.”
I will admit, it appears he can’t shut up.

No Pants
I haven’t been amazed by the human race for a long time. Just about the time, you think that they can’t do anything more stupid, they do. Case in point is ‘no pants day’ on the subway in New York City. If you ride the subway today, (December 7) you are challenged to not wear pants. Apparently there is no reason for going without pants, you just do it.
But, wait! If you don’t live in New York, you can celebrate the unofficial ‘no pants day’ on the first Friday of May each year. That’s May 4th in 2018. The idea is not to wear pants in public, where ever you are. People do this in several nations, but it is primarily a U.S. event. You really can’t fix stupid and it’s contagious.
In our little commune, the average age is about 70. I truly hope this fad doesn’t catch on here. I suppose that may depend upon Depends. Do they come in flowery prints?
May 4th I plan to stay inside all day and not look out the windows.

Old Men
Old men are funny. I know because I are one. We just see things differently than younger people do. Perhaps it’s because we’ve been there and done that - as they say. The following are stories to demonstrate how funny old men are - two of the stories are true.
Two old men approach each other on a street and recognize each other and stop to greet each other. The first man admits that he is not good at remembering names, so the second guy replies, "Oh, I understand. My name is Joe Smith." The first old man replies, "Not your name, mine."
A young man lived close to an old man that loved to fish, but health problems had stopped him from driving to the lake. So, the young man would take him fishing as often as he could. While they fished, the old man would do what old people do, and complain about his health and doctors. He would mention what the doctor had told him to stop doing at his last visit. Over time, his doctor had told him to stop using snuff, cut out red meat, no butter or margarine, nothing with sugar and so forth. During his last visit the doctor had told him to stop using salt. The younger man asked, "What are you going to do if your doctor tells you to quit fishing?" The old man replied, "I’m going to switch doctors."
And finally, an old man and woman that had been married for many years had a discussion, led by the wife, about love. She explained to him that she didn’t feel like he loved her anymore. "That’s ridiculous the old man said, of course I love you." "How am I supposed to tell you love me?", the wife replied. Without a pause the old man said, "If I didn’t love you, I would have killed you a long time ago."
It’s a lot of fun being old and grumpy.

Worst Fake News
Enough already of this fake news trash. While watching a news program early one morning this week there was a story about global warming (climate change) is going to destroy the trees from which come cocoa beans. Cocoa is where chocolate comes from. Therefore, the talking heads said chocolate could go away by 2050.
While I don’t plan to be here is 2050, I could already see shortages and price increases in my Twix candy bars. The climate change people had finally said something that caught my attention. So I did what I always do and did a little research. Turns out it ain’t so.
There are limited areas, rain forest, where the treasured trees can go. The best quality beans are from Ghana, West Africa, but some do go as near as southern Mexico.
Apparently the scare came from a study by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration that stated we reached a tipping point in 2016 and unless major changes are made, the number of areas where cacao trees can grow will be dramatically reduced. However one researcher did add, "there is time for adaptation." Adaptation means, we can find another way to grow the beans.
They didn’t mention the details on TV.
I hope all their chocolate candy melts in their hands and not their mouths.

California Dreaming
It’s official, as of Monday, January 1st, California is officially a sanctuary state with passage of SB 54 last year. Police are now forbidden from asking people about their immigration status or participating in most federal immigration efforts.
Other bills passed in 2017 prohibit landlords from reporting their illegal immigrant renters, while one keeps employers from allowing immigration raids without a court order. And, governor "moonbeam" Brown has even pardoned two illegal immigrants of state felony charges and arranged for them to fight deportation with an appeal process.
To top it off, marijuana is now legal in California. ‘There’s reefers in them there hills.’
Sounds like California is the place to be, if you want to break laws and get high.

Jane
Most of you have heard about Jane, or at least what Jane did in 1973. She died in February, 2017 in Texas, of a heart ailment. Jane lived a troubled life but became the hero of millions of women and the enemy of millions too. Jane was Jane Roe, of Roe vs Wade, when the Supreme Court ruled that abortion was legal in this country.
It is interesting that Norma McCorvey, her real name, never had an abortion, although she was pregnant when she filed the case to allow abortions. Even more interesting is that she later said, "I believe that I was used and abused by the court system in America. Instead of helping women in Roe vs Wade, I brought destruction to me and millions of women throughout the nation."
Norma worked in abortion clinics in 1992 and observed the low regard for women from abortion doctors. She also saw first hand the baby parts, which are horrible to see, she said. Norma struggled with drugs and alcohol to cover the pain she felt. But, something happened and she was baptized by a preacher in a swimming pool in Texas. She spent the rest of her life condemning abortion for what it is - the death of a baby.
Since 1973 there have been over 50 million abortions. Norma’s question to a Senate committee still needs an answer.
"I saw women crying in the recovery rooms. If abortion is so right, why were the women crying?"

Unemployment
The unemployment rate is reportedly down to about 4% now. That means the job market is good for those that are or may be looking for a job. But, it does not mean that just because one might get a job, they can keep it. Having worked in many fields for a lot of years, I would like to pass on a little guidance for keeping a job.
There are some simple steps to keeping a job and progressing up the ladder. Anybody, or almost anybody, can do it.
On your first day to report to work, show up early - 15 to 30 minutes - and meet as many people as you can. Ask questions about the job. When you meet with your supervisor, ask questions about the job and get clear instructions on what you are supposed to do. Find out what the big picture is for the company and how your job fits in toward making the company objectives.
Next, follow instructions and if they are unclear, ask questions and then ask for help if you need it. Pay attention to the job - that’s a biggie. While it is important to meet all the people you can, doing your job is your priority. And, when you meet people, ask questions about what they do.
By now you should have the idea to ask questions. Add learn something from everyone and you will be off to a good start.
Repeat the process for a few days until you are comfortable with what you are expected to do, always putting in all the effort you have to get the job done the way the boss wants it done. When you’ve done the job for awhile, look around at how something might be done better and suggest it only after you have considered all the possibilities.
Back to that first day, show up early and stay late. Spend a few minutes to reflect on what you learned and be sure you have accomplished what you were supposed to. It never hurts to put in a few minutes extra everyday. Bosses notice.
If you learn all you can and do the job the way it is supposed to be done, and maintain that pace for a period of time, you may find yourself with an opportunity to move up the ladder of success.
Keep repeating the process until you find a better job or retire.

As I Predicted
As usual I did not stay up late to see the new year in. And, as usual, it looks like the old year did. People are still killing other people, especially police officers, North Korea still threatens to start World War III, celebrities still believe they are special and can do whatever they want, and the media still hates Trump.
It still gets cold in East Texas in the winter, and I’m guessing that it will be hot this summer. Gasoline prices have gone up again, and they will come down again. And, there are mattress sales, even on New Years day.
Yep, the new year is looking like it will be the same as next year, with twists and turns, ups and downs and millions of crazy people doing crazy things.
The only thing I’ve noticed different was traffic this morning. Not many people on the roads.
Maybe, that’s because they did not go to bed early like I did.
