The End

If the Mayan calendar is correct, the world will end on December 21^st. I have not heard what time. And, if I knew the time, I probably wouldn’t know what time zone was used. Did they have time zones back then?

No matter, this blog will not be posted on the 21^st. That means I will not be near a computer and if the world does end, the computer may not work anyway.

For many centuries, there have been predictions about when the world will end. Obviously it hasn’t happened yet. However, I suspect that people will keep trying and sooner or later, somebody has got to get it right or at least close. The question then will be, "the prediction came true - now what do we do?

I don’t think the Mayans took into consideration there are parts of east Texas that are said to run twenty to forty years behind, so we may be spared over here.

If that’s true, I’ll post a new writing on the 22^nd.
