Why Nannies

I complain a lot about the "Nanny" government. You know, the kind that tells you how to live your life, what to believe, what to eat, what to think, and all those what not to do’s. And, they watch your every move to see what you are doing or not doing.

Well, I have come to a conclusion as to why we have nanny government. First and foremost, people in political office are there because they want - they love - to tell other people what to do. It doesn’t matter how crazy or stupid their ideas are, they want to force you and I to do or accept their ideas and ideals. Never mind what they do. They are exempt from their own rules.

Next, there is a growing number of the population that want a nanny government. They are those that are incapable or are too lazy to make decisions that require a little thought or education. These are the "sheeple" you hear about. They are willing to give up freedom and independence for security which is a false dream. Read a little history 101.

But, the main reason that we have nanny government is possibly because the people in office think that the rest of the country is like them.  They need nannies.

And, training wheels.
