Does anyone ever watch the commercials on TV? I don’t if I don’t have to. The primary reason is that it is so rare there is anything that I would have any interest in buying. So, I record the programs I want to watch and fast forward through the commercials. The next reason I don’t like commercials is that for the most part, they are stupid. And, the medical advertisements have to be the worse.
There is a particular one that is directed to women for post menopausal osteoporosis. Women have a greater risk for osteoporosis than men do. The woman in the commercial is obviously a "senior" senior citizen and has concerns. That’s great, except when they start listing all the side effects and warnings of the drug they want you to buy. The one that caught my attention says, "Don’t take this product if you are pregnant."
You may want to think about that one.
