The flags are at half mast or they should be. Memorial day is a designated holiday to remember those that died defending this country. Do we really remember?
I am amazed how many flags are out in little commune. It is encouraging to know that the American Spirit is alive.
My flag is at half mast and yes I salute when I raise and lower it. I like to think that somehow those that gave all know that we care.
