Married Men Make More Money

According to a new study from the American Enterprise Institute and the Institute for Family Studies and published by the Heritage Foundation, married men make more money. Middle aged married men make about $19,000 more on average compared to their single peers, according to the report authored by W. Bradford Wilcox and Robert Lerman.

And, there are other benefits of marriage. Like, children growing up to get married and make more money because they have opportunity for more education and learn the value of working to get ahead.

There is lots of other data in the report such as the decline in male employment is due to, not caused by the drop in marriage rates. Heck I could have told them that.  When you’re married, you have to make more money.

A lot more!
