Obama has called for more restrictions on electric power plants. The EPA (Energy Prevention Administration) is ordered to further reduce emissions from power plants, coal plants in particular. Numerous states have already reacted with law suits to block new regulations.
The truths are; coal does not burn clean but emissions have been reduced dramatically over the past few years; and, when those plants go down, the nation is in danger of losing the electric grid. Power plants take years to build, because of all the regulations.
Just how long do you want to sit and wait for your electric service to be restored? Don’t think solar or wind.
They are about as reliable as not having any power at all.
