There are only two individuals in the United States that have their own zip codes. You might guess that the president would be one, and you would be correct. Unless you happen to know this bit of trivia, the second one is a little hard to guess. Smokey the Bear. That big old loveable bear. His zip code is 20252 if you want to drop him a letter.
I don’t know what the president’s zip code because I didn’t bother to look it up. He doesn’t seem interested in you writing to him anyway. So, write to Smokey.
“Dear Smokey,
Thank you for all you do to prevent forest fires. Do you think you could take some time and help the other guy that has his own zip code? If nothing else, maybe you could get him a hat like yours. He could pretend that he is helping you for the next year or so. It surely would help the country if you could keep him busy.”
