A couple of days ago I posted a note about “Pierre,” a very successful businessman that died at the age of 61. I want to mention that an estimated 1200 people attended his memorial service including several well known celebrities. My youngest granddaughter got to stand next to Randy Owen of the country group, Alabama, during a special part of the life celebration.
The inevitable question came up this week while I was telling a friend about Pierre. “How can someone do what he did in such a short time? He went from nothing to a success when others told him that it could not be done.” Well, I think I have the answer.
It seems that Pierre rarely went anywhere without a New Testament and a pocket copy of the Constitution.
