In case you haven’t noticed, you no longer have the right to express yourself freely. Forget the Constitution, that old outdated piece of paper. This is the age of "offensive."
When I was in "J" school, we had a creed that went something like this, "I may disagree with what you say, but I will fight to the death for your right to say it." Now days, if you say something that someone doesn’t want you to say, then you may die for it.
Kimberley Strassel, author, and writer for The Wall Street Journal recently told a simple story about silencing free speech. She explained that she has three children, ages twelve, nine and five. At the dinner table, the oldest was tormenting his youngest sister when the five year old told him, "You need to stop talking forever." Then the three got into a shouting match with each one yelling "shut up." At this point Ms. Strassel asked them to tell her what free speech means. The twelve year old gave a test book definition including, "Congress shall make no law, etc." The nine year old said that she had no idea what "public safety" or "libel" were but everyone should be able to say anything, anywhere, at anytime. The five year old had been giving the question a lot of thought when she gave her answer. "Free speech is that you can say what you want - as long as I like it."
That’s the mentality of those that would destroy the country.
A whole basket of five year olds - a whole basket, not just a half.
