Buying shoes on line can be a blessing and a curse. The truth is that buying anything that fits me on line is a curse at best. But, since the brick and mortar stores have cut inventories, and there are few selections for tall skinny people with big feet, I have to resort to more and more on line shopping.
Recently it seems my big feet are growing, at least the shoe size I’ve had for years, no longer fits. This has caused me to order, return and order again, and again to get a pair of shoes that fit - forget fashion. The positive has been dealing with the company I order from. Their representatives are always friendly and helpful. That’s a good thing because right now I am in the process of returning one pair and ordering two. And, because I am ‘special’ I got a promotion credit of $30.
It should not be so difficult to buy shoes. In the ‘old days’ one had only to go to a department or shoe store and get shoes off the shelf. Even my hard to find size. I won’t say the size, but I usually donate my shoes as housing for the homeless - with odor eaters.
If winter wasn’t near, I’d just go barefoot.
Some people think barefoot looks tacky with a suit, but I don’t.
