For the first time I browsed Craigslist just to see what it is all about. I have looked at eBay and wasn’t impressed. Guess what? Craigs doesn’t impress me either. It’s probably because I am not into buying and selling stuff on the internet. The only reason I took a few minutes was because I had seen a blog written by a young man that does buy and sell for a living. He must do pretty well, he is debt free except for his house. He and his wife have four children and are expecting another one. He won’t be debt free very long.
My ace number one daughter posted an electric pump for a friend, on Craigs. He never got a call. That may be the norm or maybe he priced it too high. Who knows? But it is intriguing that garage sales are now on the internet. That’s what I would call the various sites that have all the listings.
The positive to such sites is that you don’t have to fight some fat woman to get a used lawn mower.
