I have stated before that no one or nothing takes priority over our special needs granddaughter. We had a plumbing problem and they had to go get parts and get them installed and all that stuff that plumbers do. I told them up front that I had to leave at a specified time to go pickup my granddaughter. When the time came, I prepared to leave the plumbers working although I would not be able to know what time they left - that affects the charges. These guys rushed to get done and finished about a minute before I had to leave. All they had to do was cover up all the holes they dug in the yard. I don’t know much time they charged me for because I wasn’t here when they left.
The point is that picking granddaughter from the school she attends is number one. I think they understood.
Why am I such a fanatic about her? A simple smile when she sees me.
There is no amount of money worth more than that.
