No one knows for sure how many religions there are in the world. From a little research, a good guess is about 4,000, give or take a few hundred. Christianity is the largest with about two billion believers, with Islam, 1.3 billion, second and growing quickly.
It’s easy to understand why Islam is growing so much. If you don’t join up, they will kill you. At least that’s what is happening in parts of the world.
Hinduism and Buddhism are next in order. You don’t hear much about them. Judaism, which seems to upset so many people, has only about 15 million followers. I don’t understand why everyone gets so mad at them. Maybe, it’s those funny hats.
Then, there are the true top two religions in America. Bet you thought Christianity was number one.
