Don't Believe

Someone once said, “Don’t believe anything you hear and only half of what you see.”  That simply means that things are often not what they appear to be.

There are over a half million police in this country.  They are dedicated to protecting and serving the communities they serve.  Yet, we see protest in the streets against them for something they did not do.  Yes, there are bad COPS.  But when you have four or five shooting incidents that are not what they appear to be until a jury and judge rule, demonstrators are falling prey to believing what they want to hear and see and not what may have actually happened.

Rather than demonstrators respecting the fallen Dallas officers for their dedication to protect and serve, they continued to protest, some violently.  What does this say about the character of those few?  Does it say that a mere few hundred are so obsessed with destroying a system of law and order, truly represent millions?

It may be that the millions understand that the alternative to law and order is anarchy?

It is time for all to stop, look and listen.
