Millionaire

I always wanted to be a millionaire.  That’s not unusual in today’s dollars.  Lots of young people are millionaires.  The problem with becoming one is it takes discipline.  I don’t have any of that.  And, it takes a vision and a plan.

I used to work for a multi-millionaire that got his riches the old fashioned way.  He worked for it.  But in today’s terms, the take-a-way I got from him was control your money.  Meet your needs and limit your wants.

It is interesting that today’s “millennials” are not investing in the markets as much as they are holding cash.  This means that they have a lot of money, but it is in a bank.  They are looking for security and flexibility should they come across an investment opportunity that requires immediate funds.  Not a bad plan.

Personally I am a very conservative investor and lean toward cash funds.  The way I got it figured, if I live to be 150 and don’t spend another dime, not even for food and shelter, I can be an almost millionaire.

That’s pretty good for me.
