In case you may have missed this, there is a fund set up by congress in 1995 to pay off complaints about them or their staff, including sexual misconduct. So far this year, it is reported that fund has paid out over $900,000 and about $15 million since the fund was authorized. Yes, this means that you pay for any little transgression they may have.
It has been said that we have the best government that money can buy. But, the way it is in D.C. now, I don’t think we can afford them anymore.
Do these people think they have diplomatic immunity - not responsible for anything or everything?
I don’t think we have to pay for diplomats sexual misconduct - at least not yet.
