Meanwhile, Back At The Ranch

One of the greatest lies ever told is, "I’m from the government and I’m here to help you." It doesn’t matter which party is in office, they all have ideas on how they can run our lives. I don’t know about you, but I have enough to worry about and take care of that I really don’t care about what’s going on at my neighbors so long as they aren’t disturbing me or breaking basic laws of society.

The problem with governments is that they want to know what you are doing and they want you to either stop or do it the way they tell you. And, all of their "help" is disguised as doing what’s good for the people. If all politicians had to live in the real world, the average working souls trying to pursue life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, they wouldn’t have all the stupid ideas presented to us.

It should be a law that elected officials should be required by law to find out what’s going on in the real world. Instead of listening to a few friends, family, special interest groups or lobbyist, everyday they should be trying to find out what’s really going on back at the ranch.

If the barn ain’t on fire, we probably don’t need any help.
