House Speaker Paul Ryan has announced that he is retiring and will leave office in January. There are reports of other Republicans making or will make the same decision. Not only is Trump draining the swamp, some of the rodents are jumping ship. Why?
In my humble opinion, the folks in D.C. are scared. They want to get out while the getting is good. The economic storm is moving faster than expected. This country has a multi trillion debt and it’s growing rapidly. And, the all knowing elite don’t have a clue how to stop it - Republicans or Democrats.
The American people are tired of politics and spending money like there is no end to it. Politicians are afraid of having their little playground messed up, so you will see more and more leaving.
Instead of jumping ship when the going gets tough, it is time to call for all hands on deck.
Damn the torpedoes.
Full speed ahead on fixing the problems.
