I have mentioned before that we all live in a little world. It’s really about the size of one room. Our worlds are made up of a few family and friends that drive us to do what we do and think what we think. This is not all bad, but it is also, not all good. Each of us tends to migrate to those of the same thinking. In other words, we are victims of our environment for the better or worse.
Humans like to be comfortable and feel important to somebody. That’s why one usually has a small, but influential, group of friends. These friends help us support our beliefs and attitudes.
All this rambling is getting to a point. If humans are humans, and most of them are, then it is safe to conclude that politicians have friends that influence what they believe and want. It just could be that all the input from the lowly citizens is nothing more than a nuance to them. They already know
what’s best for everyone of us.
In their little world.
