Two old friends drove down from the Dallas area today. That’s about a four hour drive, round trip. They came to visit. We three guys enjoyed a lunch together and talked about everything but politics. That’s because one of the guys won’t stop if he gets started. It was a nice visit.
I mention this because it is getting more rare for friends to get together and just talk. Everyone is just too busy. Like a lot of people, we talk on the phone or send emails, but there’s a difference when you sit down for a meal and relax.
Try it with a couple of fiends.
