One of the problems with kids is that they grow up. Just about the time you get them potty trained and some what house broken enough to pick up some of their stuff, they leave home.
My youngest granddaughter was notified this week that she has been accepted to the college of her dreams. She is to be congratulated on her hard work to gain admittance to the school. Her plans are to major in elementary education. I think she is planning to teach granddad a few things. If I went back to school, I’d still be in the third grade.
Now all we have to do is work out the financial part of college. If she can get about a million scholarships and grants. and everyone we know, kicks in all the funds they have, she will be able to attend for at least an hour.
Something tells me that she will make it just fine, in spite of her granddad.
