What To Call It

There is a distinctive difference between a democracy and a republic. In a democracy, if you get a new car and a majority decides that you don’t need a new car, then they can take it away. In a republic, the majority cannot take it away.

What I want to know is what do you call a place where if you buy a new car and only a few others have one, you get to tell the majority to get off the roads.

That’s where we live.

Fortunately for you, Republics allow grumpiness.
