Every now and then I stumble upon a quote worth quoting. Usually it’s something Mark Twain said. I was watching one of those police shows on TV the other night and the lead character used a quote that is worth repeating:
Edward Everett Hale (1822-1909) American author and Unitarian clergyman, said, "I am only one; but still I am one. I cannot do everything; but still I can do something; and because I cannot do everything, I will not refuse to do the something that I can do."
There is a lot of wisdom in that phrase. Think about it. I am still thinking about it.
