99.9% of the time, I have biscuits for breakfast. No, I don’t make them, and I am picky about the brand and style I have. As usual, today, I popped the biscuits in the preheated oven and waited. When I smelled something burning, I opened the oven door and lo and behold, the biscuits were broiled. Burned is the correct analysis. One of the elements had gone out on the oven and therefore, instead of baking as I wanted, the biscuits burned.
It is not difficult to replace an element, but since we have a warranty, I called the company. They sent my request to a local company. When I called that company, I was told they were busy trying to get through all the services request. Maybe tomorrow? Or, not. They don’t know how grumpy I can get without my biscuits for breakfast.
If I have to, I’ll put barbeque sauce on them and broil the next batch.
