Robin Williams committed suicide. All the TV talking heads and radio talk shows are spouting comments and opinions which they are not qualified to make. It’s annoying hear people that believe their opinion matters.
As I was listening to one radio talk show while driving, the host had been commenting about Mr. Williams for quite awhile when a mental health professional called in. His name was Jeremy, and he is from Fort Worth, Texas. Jeremy told the host that he works with suicidal people on an all most daily basis. He stated that he had experienced someone taking their life while talking to him on the phone. Then, he explained why someone would take their life. "It’s not that they want to die. They don’t know how to live," he said.
Jeremy is a wise man.
May Mr. Williams rest in peace. That’s what he was searching for.
