The problem with rumors are that most people take them as the truth because someone they trust tells them. In reality, there is usually a little truth in a rumor and a lot of conjecture. Humans like to embellish what they don’t know so as to sound like they do know.
There are so many rumors on the internet that if .01% has a ounce of truth, then we are all doomed.
But, we may all be doomed anyway.
