Don't Humiliate

Well, it hasn’t been a week yet and the new Prez has already upset me. I don’t understand why Presidents don’t check with me first before they do things. I know Mr. Trump promised that he would build a wall on the southern border and Mexico would pay for it, but he just may be going at it the wrong way.

His approach is to humiliate the Mexican President, and that doesn’t usually sit well with folks. My approach might be a little more palatable. All Mr. Trump has to do is get Mexico to agree to recall all it’s illegal people back. Give them a time line, 60 days, to return. If they do not, then the U.S. will arrest and deport them back. Those folks would go to a Mexican prison. Not nice places. And, for those that aren’t rounded up, launch a movement to prevent them from working anywhere in the U.S. or receiving any aid.

Mexico would be removing the multi-billion burden on our economy and therefore paying for the wall. And, they would have their people back to work without any tariffs placed on trade.

Win Win.

Just don’t try to humiliate someone into doing something.
