There are two days in 2017 that are Friday the 13th. January 13 and October 13. I am not completely sure why everyone gets all concerned about these days, except it is supposed to mean bad luck. Or, at least a day to be cautious.
To be on the safe side, don’t walk under any ladders or black cats.
You’d have to be really short to walk under a black cat.
If this sounds silly, it's because superstitions are.
