In my quest to get three computers conquered - three different operating systems - I ran upon a problem with one of my printers. Try as I may, I could not get two of the computers to print to it. Finally I gave up and called the manufacturer for support. You may not believe what happened.
As usual I had to stay on hold for a long time, but finally I got someone to pickup my call. A man named "Deepak" introduced himself and asked how he could help. I explained the problem and suggested that it may be with the drivers on the two computers. He explained that Windows 8.1 and 10 sometimes fail to add the drivers in their updates. And, we agreed that he could connect to the machines. In 15 or 20 minutes, both PCs were working with the printer. And, now the rest of the story.
All the time we were talking and working, Deepak was genuinely courteous and helpful. He was very professional and patient and had the knowledge and skills to solve the problems. And, you may have guessed from his name, he was not from East Texas. He spoke perfect English, with an accent, and was easy, even for me to understand.
When we finished and it was time to hang up, he said, "God bless you." Right back at you Deepak.
I’m not one to heap praise very often, but this man deserves it. I can’t tell you how many people I have told about this experience.
I hope he is contagious where he works.
