Spider Solitaire

I play Spider Solitaire. I play a lot. I lose a lot. If you have never played the game, then I highly recommend that you don’t. It is frustrating on a good day. It’s kind of like life.

I’m not exactly sure what the objective of the game is but to win the game with the least number of moves. A good score is anything over 1200 - I think. I’ve only gotten a score that high once. Hey, I’ve only playing for a thousand years.

The trick to the game is to make the right choices in the unknowns and play the known’s with the least moves. Isn’t that what life is all about? Making the right moves when you see them and hoping for the best when you have no idea what’s going to be on the other side when you turn that card over.

Right now, I have a win ratio of 41% of the games played. As I said, I have only achieved a high score once. I have worked plans and techniques, and used what I see to try to do better the next time. What do I get? Frustration.

But it sure is fun when you win that one.
