WAR

We are at war! We have the war on poverty, the war on obesity, the war on drugs, the war on smoking, and the list goes on and on. But, now we have the war on women. At least according to Planned Parenthood there is a war on women.

The evil "right" is raging war on women by refusing to provide contraceptives and abortions. I know this is not the right thing to say so I am going to say it, "If the tax payers have to pay for contraceptives, then there should be no abortions." I told you that was the wrong thing to say.

Whether you are for or against abortions, I would hope you might agree that tax dollars should not be used to fund them. Nor should everyone pay so others can play. What happened to personal responsibility? It went away one day while I was napping.

So far as a war on women, there’s been a war with women going on at my house for almost fifty years. I have a wife, a daughter and two granddaughters.

I’ve never won a battle, much less the war.
