The Sydney Morning Herald reports that a judge in Australia’s most populous state has compared incest and pedophilia to homosexuality because it used to be illegal and widely considered unnatural. Judge Gary Neilson contends that incest is illegal to reduce the number of birth defects, but with abortion readily available, it should not be.
Yes, the reaction to the judge has been shock. But, then so were reactions to homosexuality not that long ago.
If you think that the very idea is disgusting and just plain sick, you may want to be careful what you say. It could land you in trouble.
