When I was young, I used to work any part time job I could find. We were very poor and I needed and wanted some things - like new clothes and hamburgers. My mother told me that I had to share my earnings with my younger sister because she couldn’t get a job. My solution to that direction was to quit working.
When I did go back to work, I kept what I earned until the time came for me to support the whole family for a period of time.
