In a rare moment this week, I was watching live TV and saw the first few minutes of “Supergirl.” I rarely watch live televison. Television is bad enough if you record programs you want to see, and fast forward through the commercials. But, on with my story.
Supergirl is taking a leisurely fly around when she hears with her super hearing an incident of road rage. Two men are speeding and crashing into each other when their route takes them through a school zone where some children are crossing in the crosswalk. Just in time, Supergirl swoops down and stops both cars. Then one of the drivers decides to attack her and she grabs his fist and shoves him away. Pay attention because those are the facts I saw. But, that’s not the story.
According to the media, Supergirl is the villain because she defended herself against the attacker. There were plenty of cell phones that recorded that part.
Does any of this sound familiar to you?
