At the insistence of my financial controller and ace number one daughter, I went to a new doctor this past week. I don’t like to go to doctors. All they do is tell me to quit smoking and give me a prescription for something that has a higher death rate than caused by smoking.
My visit went exactly as expected and the good doctor gave me a prescription to cure all my afflictions. As is my nature, I looked up the drug to see what the side effects are. With a couple of exceptions, the list of common reactions are exactly like the symptoms I have. How am I supposed to know if I get better? I am not making this up.
Truth is truly stranger than fiction.
