About a million years ago there was a country music song titled, "Foolish Questions." One line said, "You lather up your face and your wife ask, "Are you going to shave?" Nope, just thought I’d lather up a bit."
And, someone ask why you are all dressed up, to which you reply, "I’m going to Ned’s funeral." They respond, "Is Ned dead?" Guess Ned thought he’d have his funeral and get it off his to do list.
The point is that most days, you get a lot of foolish questions. One gets to thinking they are talking to a bunch of network news anchors.
Every time I have to go to a doctor I always am greeted with, "How are you today?"
I usually reply, "Not well or else I wouldn’t be here."
