Let’s face the facts. If mankind destroys the earth, we won’t have any place to live. Second fact, it is impossible for us to destroy the earth. We can make the environment unliveable, but the earth will heal itself. Them are the facts, folks.
Earth day is a good money making event and it keeps the folks that like to play Chicken Little happy. If they weren’t running around shouting, "the sky is falling" they would have to find something else to do and it could be worse.
The truth is that the earth has been warming since the end of the ice age. And, if we don’t have another ice age, then in about a billion years, we may have to learn to live in a hot climate.
Meanwhile, what are we to do? Fly around in jet planes raising money and living the life of luxury. If you really want to save the earth, all you have to do is get rid of the people.
Let’s see a showing of hands on that solution.
