Here’s another one of the official grumpy old man rules for life. It may be the most difficult rule of them all to keep. #34: "Don’t hurt the ones that love you." How many of you have ever done or said something that you would undo or take back, but it’s too late? If you haven’t, you can stop reading here, because you are dead.
Everything from hurt feelings to destroying a life of someone that loves you are daily occurrences. I know that I’ve hurt the ones that I love the most. And, I have been devastated by the ones I love the most.
If you can follow rule #34, you will have followed several of the other rules.
