Senator Jeanne Shaheen of New Hampshire, filed legislation this week that would create a citizens panel to recommend a choice to the treasury secretary for a female face on the $20 bill. The last female on paper money was Martha Washington, and that was on the Silver Certificate $1 bill. No more "One Silver Dollar" on the note. So, the senator thinks now it is time to get rid of Andy J.
Women have appeared on coins, such as the Susan B. Anthony dollar and a couple of others. No one seemed to like those because they were not practical to carry. Especially for women.
I would like to recommend my financial controller’s picture. She will keep them in circulation.
I can guarantee it.
