I listened to one of those radio talk shows last week where the host was discussing marriage and fatherhood. It seems that there has been a major decline in the number of young white males getting married and having children. The take away from the program is “why are young white males interested in rasing a family?”
It doesn’t matter what religion you are or even if you have none, the family is the foundation of civilization. Without the family, society cannot survive. A father is critical to raising children. His job is to protect and provide, but also to teach values, honor, guide the family to living meaningful lives.
I can only guess why young white males don’t want the responsibility of a family. The one thing that stands out is that so many of them have been raised by a mother only. They missed out on understanding the importance and satisfaction of a family.
Hey, guys. Get married and have children.
That way, you’ll never run out of something to do.
