Comics

I don’t subscribe to a newspaper, but I do try to keep up on what’s going on in the world. But, as when I took the paper, I always read the comics first. There is a website that has all the syndicated strips, and you can pick the ones you want to see.

The reason I read the comics first is because they are the only thing that makes sense in today’s world of journalism. I will admit that most of the time now, the news is funnier than the comics.

In the past few days, there have been a couple of comics that point out why I read them first. Shoe, my favorite strip had one that said, "Congress is like a day care without adult supervision." Dennis the Menace taking to Mr. Wilson said, "You say you have lived to a ripe old age. Does that mean you are ready to fall off?"

You just try reading the comics first everyday and you will get a new perspective on life.

And, you will see why they make more sense than anything else you’ll read each day.
