Old people ramble a lot, so pay attention or you won’t keep up. Life was never meant to be easy. Hence the old adage, "Only the strong survive." To phrase it in today’s "snowflake" world, "The sun is going to melt your safe space."
Next on the rambling is how I always try to be helpful. Dr. Wild Bill, of the Church of What’s Happening Now, commented on his blog that he was having trouble growing roses. In my usual way of helping him, I offered the following expert advice. Plant the roses in a sunny spot. Get a cow with diarrhea and lead her around in your rose garden. Water as needed. To prune the roses, use a chainsaw and trim them to ground level. Be sure to wear gloves and safety glasses and watch where you step.
That’s enough for one day.
