Plead The 10th

The 10th Amendment states: "The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people." Exactly what does it mean?

It means that the Federal government can’t manage or force anyone to participate in a health care plan or about a million other things they do. To borrow an opinion I read this week, Congress doesn’t care about the Constitution. If it doesn’t specifically say they can’t do something, then they can do anything they want. So it was revealed in a July 2010 video of Judge Andrew Napolitano speaking to a college class, where he quoted S.C. Congressman Jim Clyburn as saying, "Most of what we do is unconstitutional."

Reality is that the Federal government only has power given by the states and the states have the right to take back any authority they did not authorize.

That is why we keep hearing about a Convention of States.

Let’s see how the media covers that when it happens.
